Messages, ancrages, errances
All is movement, exchange and circulation in Jules Verne. Communications are parts of the movements. They are thus threatened by delays, detours and interceptions. What of the text of the message itself, written on a piece of parchment/paper, or engraved on a stone? This essay focuses on the way these messages are transformed in an endlessly moving oeuvre and more importantly what type of reading they solicit.
